Are you passionate about promoting sustainability and social justice? Highland One World is looking to recruit a Global Youth Officer to support young people to take action on global issues. 

As part of the HOW team, the Global Youth Officer will help to deliver the objectives of Start the Change! This is a European funded project which aims to empower young people aged 15-24 to have a voice and take action on issues related to migration, inequality and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

With a commitment to social justice and sustainability and the values of Highland One World, the post holder will have experience of working with young people and a passion for creative and innovative approaches to youth voice and action.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment to youth engagement as a tool for positive change.

Hours: 2 days per week (0.4 fte)


Salary: £ 27,373 – £29,084 (pro rata) depending on experience+ 5% employer’s contribution to pension

Contract: The post is for one year with the possibility of extension subject to funding
